RunAstra ("we", "our", "us") is a mobile fitness application operated by Athleon under the website athleon.co.in. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, and protect user information when you use the RunAstra application and related services.

1. Information We Collect

• Basic profile information such as name, city, profile preferences, and chosen Astra mascot.
• Fitness and activity data from Google Health Connect and Apple HealthKit.
• Workout information including walking, running, active minutes, distance, heart rate, and related fitness metrics when authorized by the user.
• Voice recordings and voice-derived insights when users utilize Zenith Voice Scan features.
• Images and visual fitness assessments when users utilize Astra Form Vision features.
• Optional fitness activity data from Strava.
• Challenge participation and progression data.
• Device information, app usage information, and advertising identifiers.

2. Google Health Connect Integration

RunAstra integrates with Google Health Connect to provide core fitness tracking functionality.

With your explicit permission, the application may request access to:

• Step Count data
• Distance data

RunAstra may read and write Step Count and Distance data through Google Health Connect in order to:

• Track daily activity progress
• Calculate personalized fitness goals
• Power the Astra Zenith AI mascot and motivational features
• Display wellness insights and challenge progress

Health Connect data is processed primarily on your device wherever possible.

We do NOT:

• Sell Health Connect data to third parties
• Use Health Connect data for advertising purposes
• Share Health Connect data with ad networks
• Use Health Connect data for data brokering

Health Connect data is used strictly to provide the app’s fitness tracking and wellness features.

3. Apple HealthKit Integration

RunAstra integrates with Apple HealthKit to provide fitness tracking and wellness features.

With your explicit permission, RunAstra may access:

• Step Count
• Walking and Running Distance
• Workouts
• Active Energy
• Heart Rate (where available)

This information is used to:

• Track fitness progress
• Provide personalized insights
• Generate wellness summaries
• Power AI coaching features
• Support participation in challenges and leaderboards

HealthKit data is never sold, shared with advertising platforms, or used for marketing profiling.

4. Strava Integration

Users may optionally connect their Strava account using Strava OAuth authentication.

When connected, RunAstra may fetch read-only activity information from Strava, including:

• Recent activity distance
• Pace and timing information
• Heart rate data (if available)

This information is used solely to provide the Runner Sync feature and related analytics inside the app.

Users may disconnect their Strava account at any time through app settings or directly through their Strava account permissions.

5. AI-Powered Features

RunAstra includes AI-powered functionality such as Astra AI Coach, Astra Zenith, Master Brain Chat, Voice Scan, and other wellness insight features.

These features may process fitness data, activity information, voice inputs, and user-provided content to generate personalized recommendations and summaries.

AI-generated insights are provided for informational and motivational purposes only and should not be considered medical advice.

6. Voice Data Processing

If users choose to use Zenith Voice Scan or other voice-enabled features, audio recordings may be processed to generate wellness and performance insights.

Voice data is used solely to provide requested functionality and is never sold to third parties.

7. Subscriptions

RunAstra may offer optional auto-renewable subscriptions that unlock premium features and advanced functionality.

Subscription payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play. RunAstra does not collect or store users' payment card information.

8. Advertising and Monetization

RunAstra uses third-party advertising services including Google AdMob and mediation partners such as Meta Audience Network to display advertisements.

These advertising providers may collect certain information such as:

• Advertising identifiers
• Device identifiers
• App interaction and usage data
• General location information

This data may be used to provide personalized and relevant advertisements.

We do NOT share Google Health Connect data or sensitive fitness health data with advertising networks.

9. Backend Data Storage

Some application data is securely stored on our backend infrastructure hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

• Selected Astra mascot
• Challenge participation and progression data
• Leaderboard and event participation information

We implement reasonable security practices to protect stored data against unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure.

10. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

We may share limited information with:

• Cloud hosting providers such as AWS
• Advertising and analytics providers
• Third-party integrations explicitly authorized by the user
